This was actually a thing. Referring to parts by the sexual equipment they mimic is common in most trades. In the Navy we tried to think up different ways of identifying these parts without saying male or female, but I don’t think we had much success in a way that kept communication simple.
I want to make two comments. First, I’m putting consideration: “Prongs or Holes.” Sure, it’s just a description of what the thing looks like, but I mean…that just makes sense right?
Second, and in complete contradiction to my first comment, someone’s suggestion for “Pitcher and Catcher” is the greatest thing ever and is the new official thing I’m saying. If you think it’s homophobic, you don’t have enough imagination.
